[Q] [Request] Genie Weather and News Widget for the TB

Just wondering if anyone can mod the genie news and weather widget for the TB? I downloaded the zip file and changed the extension to an apk and installed with astro file manager but all it did was force close on me. Thanks in advance.

Here you go. Push this to /system/app. Also make sure the permissions are set correct, it should be rw-r--r-- , reboot and enjoy.

one of these should work...I hope I'm not doing anything wrong by posting this...if I did forgive me and delete attachment. Had these since the Eris.

Here's a genie widget that I modded to have a transparent background. As stated above, push to (or paste with root explorer) system/app/ and fix permissions.

Silly question though, is the clock in your screen shot a separate apk? I only have news and weather not the clock.

Edit: nvm I realize now that's simi clock.

In case anyone wants this in blue,,,make sure you uninstall any older genie widgets and then load this one,,,,if you run into problems side load through something like dropbox or push through ADB,,,if you like hit the thanks button!

Can do a whole host of colors!
