Default [Notification Sound] Thunderbolt

Hey guys,

This is a fairly simple little thing, but I noticed there were several people who wanted to use the Thunderbolt bootup sound (FinalThunder.mp3) as a notification sound. I didn't like a few things about it, so I modified it to improve its use in this way. Because lower frequencies are less audible with the Thunderbolt speakers, or any phone for that matter, It's been modified with a boost to upper frequencies. It has been reduced in length to ~2 seconds using the most appropriate section I could find. Finally, I've increased the volume and applied a limiter in order to maximize pocket-penetration.

Thunderbolt.ogg

You can install it into /sdcard/media/notifications. /system/media/notifications or /system/media/audio/notifications can be used if you have root.

Feel free to request modifications or include in any ROMs you make.

Enjoy, and let me know if you like it

you can also just put the MP3 on your SD card without "installing" it per say in a folder named Notifications and it works just the same

Simply perfect. Like to hear the thunderbolt 25 times in a row when my friend sms bombs me.
