Thanks for the guide!

The first thing I did when I got my outdated HD2 a couple of years ago was to jump onto android and all the guides from this site helped a lot (plus the various packages)!

Well, today, I decided to finally take the jump again and jump from Froyo to a JellyBean build (by Anurag pandey). And I was completely clueless, I ended up reading a bunch of guides over to familiarize myself with the material again. Being that its still very early in the morning and I felt very lost, I decided to just leap forward, copied out info/apps, formatted the microsd and just tried to install it.

I loaded up MAGLDR->CWM Recovery and installed from a zip file. Even though the requirements said that it needed a 310MB system partition, it never dawned on me what that really meant. The AROMA installer even told me that I only had 150MB allocated for the system partition haha. I went ahead with the installation anyway and when I rebooted, it crashed and burned in a endless restart cycle after it tries to boot from it.

After rereading the threads and whatnot for a long time, it finally dawned on me that it NEEDED 310MB for the system partition. Then I spent some more time looking up how to repartition it... luckily, some great people created the HD2Toolkit and the repartitioning was easy. Reinstalled it and voila, i'm on jellybean!

Yay xD. I did a complete NAND install, but I'm planning on a picking up a larger micro stick later today (probably a class 10) so I'm probably going to have to hit those guides again to figure out the NativeSD installations.
