[Q] Home Screen Buttons

Hi! Honestly I've browsed through and have not found any specific information for this question, so I just made a new post. I am wondering if there is a way to modify the default buttons at the bottom without using a launcher? I used ADW and GO and it seems to really slow down my phone even though i'm not really running a lot of aps. I do not use a text message modifier or anything just the launcher and a default skin. I am using the Ap Animated Widgets instead of the default box by box. I am wondering if there is a HTC Sense modifier instead of having to use a complete "home make-over Ap" ? I hope this make sense. I just want to clarify I'm not talking about a theme.. I'm talking about changing the default buttons i.e the arrow up, phone and personalize button that stays at the bottom if you are just in the default HTC launcher. OR if there is a trick to running a launcher without it absudly wearing down the phone. (i.e aps are slow loading with the launcher but without they are fine.) Yes, this is for the HTC Thunderbolt on VZ. Thanks!

^^there's some skins for your phone. That may be the thing you didn't want. But if your trying to change the functions of the dock bar, you can try this.

If you don't like that, you would have to have root, or go with the replacement launchers.

You can make your phone run faster by altering the animations, smooth scrolling, 3d app drawer, etc.

They look awesome, but my phone says they are not compatible...
