Default What's the radar icon?

Whenever I try to take a picture, there's a radar icon on the top left of the screen. Just wondering what's the icon for?

Thanks.

you can disable GPS on the notification bar until you need it. otherwise all it does is geotag your pictures... its a nice feature actually.

It can be a nice but dangerous feature. Post a photo that you took inside of your house and I can find out where you live. It's great if you're aware of the privacy risks and act accordingly.

Go into your location settings and turn them off before taking the picture. Some software like adobe bridge can strip the meta tags that contain the location data.
