Well I use this tool daily to test it out and have never had this problem. Make sure you did not hit the 3G Root button because if you did you have just became an owner of a awesome mirror.
Always look to see that you have hit WiFi.
Now if it only got to the fastboot OEM unlock then do this.
Make sure your XOOM was plugged in and charged, if not this WILL brick your device because it is formatting it and if it stops before the format is complete your screwed.
If your device was plugged in, try holding the power button for a few seconds and see if it does turn on. Chances are you may just be hitting the button in which case a red light will plash at the top and that is all.
Once that is done post your results on here.
