Failed... Phone does not answer

Hi,
I am very new to CDMA phone programming. AT this time, I am trying to flash my Samsung Fascinate to metroPCS. But I have a problem with QPST .323 and CDMA workshop. I get stuck here for 2 days.
These are the issues:
CDMA workshop: I can connect to COM2 but can not read-- Failed... Phone does not answer
QPST .323: can see the port number but under the phone section: NO PHONE

Rom that I using is Super Clean 2.9.2
Baseband EB01
Kernel version is 2.6.32.9

Can you guys help me to solve this problem?

Ever solve this? I'm in the same boat.

You wouldn't by chance be running windows server 2003?
I have very similar issue with Odin and/or ADB and com2, etc.

It will see it but not make necessary final whatever connections and gives errors & fails,,,i have to use something with xp
