Lightbulb [KERNEL] tb kernels by utkanos (updated for CM7)

Hello.

I have compiled a few kernels for use with any of the sense based roms out right now. There are 3 choices available, feedback is appreciated. Initial reports from users I have sent these to say they improved their battery life, I have been using #1 for 6 days and confirm better life, though ymmv as usual. Support for NFS and all related config options has been removed, tun support is included. For best results use ondemand governor (default).

1) 245-1024MHz, uv:

2) 245-1024MHz 5 slot, uv:

3) 245-1228MHz 7 slot, slight OC, uv:

Newest kernels will be here:

*For use with SetCPU
*Good backups are always encouraged when flashing custom software
*As always, responsibility is on the user for use of this code, not myself.

If there are any requests, suggestions, comments please don't hesitate to contact me. Enjoy

Been running #1 for a few days with great results. Just switched to #3 and so far so good. Let me get some Quadrant scores up

Thanks for these! (you helped me out the other day on #thunderbolt channel @ andirc.net).

I personally am ready to sacrifice some performance (quadrant) to get longer battery life so I can keep my 4G on longer!

EDIT: After running this kernel overnight and for the past 12 hours, it is amazing on battery life. My battery was around 70% when I flashed the kernel, now 12 hours later and some usage (gmail non-stop, k9 mail polling every 15 minutes), 20+ apps running in background and up front, webcam widget running and updating every 15 minutes, 4G left on, battery is just now at 40%. Phone is still snappy and feels good. Thanks! I look forward to seeing how long I can go on a fully charged battery.

These are amazing. They are obviously not for the uber performance crowd who want their 2.0ghz kernel, however, they have greatly improved my battery life.

That said, i can keep 4g on all day and make it 20+ hours with moderate/heavy use.

Just so everyone knows...this guy is legit and will help you out whenever you need it. I've been running his 1st kernel for awhile now on the nonsense rom tesla coil. Because apparently the kernel (drods) that comes with that one makes your device reboot spontaneously at stock cpu speeds.

Drods kernels have been very solid for me with no reboots.

Wow. This kernel rocks. No speed difference using #1, but I really thought my battery was reporting wrong. It works so well.
