[Q] 3g doesn't work?

ok i have had the htc surround for about a month on the at&t 3g network but it doesn't want to connect. does anyone know an idea of whats happening or what i can do to fix it?

Hmmm... I have a Surround from AT&T, but I live in Argentina. I had to manually set up the APN.

Go to Settings > Cellular and make sure the Data connection is ON.

If it's on, but you still cannot transfer any data over the AT&T network, tap the edit apn button and add the necessary information.

APN: wap.cingular
Username: WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM
Password: CINGULAR1

I'm not sure if that information is correct, make a call to AT&T support to get the correct information if this isn't working. If all else fails, ask for a replacement.
