I wouldn't recommend using ANY custom ROM for the Venue just yet. I'm not sure if there are any developers working on the first one, but there are none compatible with the Venue, you WILL brick your phone if you attempt to do so. Wait a while longer, the Venue is fairly new and there might be someone cooking something for it, just not available yet.

The answer is NO! The hardware isn't even the same.

As an aside, I wonder how long till we see a real, truly usable update.pkg for this phone...

It seems the Dell Streak 5 has the same specs, I still own a streak and use DJ Steve's custom ROM after using the QDL Tool to bring it to Stock 2.2 Froyo from 1.6.

Possible to install any of DJ Steve's Roms on the Venue?
