Thumbs up Nexus S Replacement Battery 1500 mAh with charger

Nexus S is a great smart phone, however, like all other touch screen smart phones, the battery of the phone runs out within a day of usage. And if you do not have a charger or the time to charge the phone in the middle of a journey or in office, you surely run out of luck.

Fret not, because there is the Nexus S replacement battery (1500mAh) that can come to the rescue. This 1500 mAh battery comes with a USB/AC charging cradle that can be plugged to the power outlet. All you need to do is to insert the battery in the charger, plug it to the power outlet and done. Once the battery is charged, you can use it with the phone.

Since this is a replacement battery, it does not come with the Samsung branding. However, the battery looks identical to the stock one.

Besides charging the replacement battery, the AC charging cradle can also charge the battery in the Nexus S phone. Thus, you can charge two batteries at one go. Once in charging mode, the USB/AC cradle displays blue light.

I used the battery with our Nexus S phone and were quite impressed with its juice. The battery almost lasted for a day with use of phone, 3G and music playback. And this replacement battery surely makes sense with 3G services now live your phone will be more hungry.

Available from dealextreme.com for just $8.30 (Rs.370) with free shipping, you can buy one yourself by visiting the product page here.

I'm skeptical about generic "made in China" stuff. But thanks for the review.

DONATE TO ME
I have the same exact battery wall charger, it broke in about a week or two. The pins that touch the battery somehow snapped off. I would'nt recommend it

Eh? Many products are made in China including products from well-known companies. Your post seems very racist and stereotypical.
Nexus 4 (E960): CarbonRom Nightlies | Franco Kernel (latest nightly)
ASUS Transformer (TF101): Team EOS4 #150 | K.A.T. 90
Older phones: Galaxy Nexus, Nexus S, Samsung Vibrant, G1
