Exclamation d2g developers attention

a group of people have gather to offer 500 dollars to any developer that can unlock d2g for oversea usage, meaning not band unlock for att or tmo, just like if it was the code provide by verizon, many of us have been affected by the codes that were change OTA by verizon now having our investment useless, anyone up to the challenge????

Why don't you try a TurboSIM? It's been reported to work.

Is this for real? Is this what Verizon is doing? So next OTA update can lock my phone back? So, should I install Fission or any other rom which will prevent the phone from automatically install new OTA updates?

You didn't get it right. Once unlocked with code your phone won't relock again ever.
Unlocking the us gsm carrier support (the TBH hack) is different story. It involves modified baseband firmware and will certainly relock if you flash official one that has the carrier ban implemented.

So, did you change your ROM to Fission or Liberty or are you personally still on the stock ROM? By changing to Fission or Liberty you get the US gsm unlock?
Thank you.

I've heard that about the Liberty and Fission ROMs but has anyone on a US GSM carrier confirmed it working??
