Goal: Cognition has always been about providing a clean slate for the user, no bloat, blocking ads, functional features, and speed without sacrificing stability.

Added SLQB memory management (default)
Added Smartass CPU Scheduler (default)

You can try, it should work, but it might not, that is why I recommend the 2.x.x.x. In rom manager, the last option, click that, install the last one on that list and you should be good to go.
