I will flash it now. But one question: will it possible to map the external SD under /sd/externalSD/ ?
I think, that the external sd data will than visible for the most apps like gallerie.

Thanks,
Harvey

Probably due to the lack of hardware acceleration as of yet. Word on the street says its coming, so be patient

I've been on this rom for the few weeks and loving it, but I tried a new kernel last night and ended up having to do a restore, but my restore won't boot, it gets hung up on the splash screen that says g tablet developers... I tried wiping before restoring too....

I had the same issue the other day. You need to mount system in recovery and then format system. After that do your standard wipes and flash the rom. I have no idea what killed it but again, mine did the same thing the other day.

I've got about 200 apps installed.

I originally had 4-5 minute boot time after first flashing this when it first came out. Within several days something happened that caused me to have to reflash this ROM (Seems like I forgot to flash the OC kernel and when I went back to CWM and did so, I got bootloops that I could not cure without reflashing the ROM). Reflash was smooth. Did a full wipe, etc, and also did OC kernel at the same time. Since reflashing the ROM and OC kernel my boot times are almost exactly 65 seconds every day, every reboot. I've got it loaded up with apps, running latest version of the OC kernel and VTL Launcher. The only thing I can think of that is different is that I was running Launcher Pro originally but have now gone totally with VTL Launcher. I also modified the SystemUI and Framework for the Honeycomb status bar icons (which work great)!

If you have the time and patience you might try reflashing the ROM and avoid Launcher Pro, using the latest OC kernel. I really believe that's what took care of my lengthy boot-up problem.

/system/app/TapNTapIME.apk
/system/lib/libjni_tapntapime.so

So, now you're going to have to convince someone who is currently using a TnT ROM to retrieve those files from their system using ADB or Root Explorer. And then you'll need either of those apps to install those files to the above directories. That should get the TnT keyboard working correctly.

Any progress in getting the Tap 'n' Tap keyboard working?

Default Mounting/Getting Device Recognized By My Mac

I cannot seem to mount the device to my Mac. I am running OS10.6 and installed VEGAn-Tab last week, but have yet to figure out how to get my computer to recognize the device.

ADB -devices reports nothing. When I plug in the USB and attempt to mount the device by "turning on USB storage", I get a message that my computer does not recognize my device.

What am I missing here?
