Hey guys, this is the Info thread for the Eee Pad Transformer.
Things of sticking rights will be placed in this thread as to keep down the clutter levels of the forum, there will be a thread like this in each of the Device forums.

Welcome to the N00b Crushing defence guide.
Things you will need:

1. To know the rules (Here) - You will not be tested at random
2. And to use PROPER ENGLISH

Things I don't like:

1. Spam posts in ROM Dev, IE, Q's
2. Posting in wrong sections (Unless you ask (In proper English) to have it moved)
3. Asking for ROM Dev posting permissions from me, or any other Mod to press a magic button and fix it, as we don't have a magic button (Or one that lets you post in ROM Dev )
4. Posting a Q without the Q tag (Worse than posting a Q in ROM Dev, or is it ) - See illustration
5. Posting in bad English - See illustration
6. Patience, not everyone is online at the same time

Good point, would also make it easier if all threads were tagged, as to differ Announcements ETC...

Heh reference thread seems to be closed so I'll post in here.

As all the other forums seem to end up with 16 trillion stickies it sounds like you're on the ball with what you've said about keeping them to a minimum. Simple info that directs people to relevant threads. Doesn't give people an excuse not to read it then, so you can happily ban them.

Is there going to be a wiki section for the eee pad? Might be good to link that in somehow if there is.

I've tried to combine tips mentioned by users throughout the threads. Software as well as hardware tips.

It seems there may be different firmware releases for different countries from now on, but I'll try and keep the info up to date.

I'm not one for stickies and such, but I do believe this thread should be stickied or referenced since I've seen quite a few posts about it on the forum.
Also it's a vital part of how the tablet works.
