Google maps modaco r8 rom

Has anyone got a location fix with wifi on latest google maps on modaco latest rom.location via wifi enabled in settings still no lock.

I dont think wifilocationfix works everywhere, i have never gotten a fix on my Mobii/Vega, nomatter if I use stock FW or a custom ROM :S

Tried a 3G/GPS enabled Mobii tablet and it is quite fast getting a fix, I am surpriced Advent havnt released the 3G/GPS enabled version of the tablet.
