Default Package file not signed correctly error

I'm running VirusROM senseless on the Thunderbolt and I'm trying to download Adobe flash player 10.2 but I keep getting "package file not signed correctly error" therefore my installation fails . Smart flash player downloads no problem. Is anyone else seeing this issue? If so, any suggestions on how to fix it.

Go into Titanium backup and uninstall. Then download from the market. Enjoy.

Default Cannot delete adobe flash..Read only file..have root access

I have root access and I'm using Root Explorer to delete or rename this file. Each time I do, it says, " this file is read only." Any ideas? I tried using titanium to uninstall the file but when it goes into CWM, it just says, "error installling file."

I found out that I needed to select "R/W" at the top of Root Explorer to delete that file. After I deleted it, I tried downloading the Adobe Flash again and it was giving me some error message. I rebooted the phone, tried to download again and was successful. I thought by downloading a newer file I would be able to watch youtube. I still can't. I guess I could start a new thread but will that adobe.fix file fix my youtube problem?

Why cant you watch Youtube? I have no issues there. If youre using the standard browser though, you will have issues. I would suggest Skyfire especially for videos or Dolphin HD. Both play flash within the browser.

I followed the steps on that link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=688054

"To make it easier, all you need to do is download Adobe Flash Player 10.2.156.12 from market and replace the /data/data/com.adobe.flashplayer/lib/libflashplayer.so which is AND 10,2,156,12 hex edited to look like WIN 99,9,999,99 for HULU.

1) Extract libflashplayer.so to sdcard
2) Copy libflashplayer.so from sdcard to /data/data/com.adobe.flashplayer/lib using root explorer and make sure the permissions for libflashplayer.so is rwxr-xr-x or chmod 755 the file.

To get this working, make sure to set your browser User Agent string. With the stock Android browser and probably other browsers excluding the Dolphin browser, you might have to do this each time you run any flash based site including hulu.com or start the browser:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=686765

Others are strongly encouraged to make a .apk installer file to share with others as a contribution to the Android community. Unfortunately, I have no way to make the .apk file as I have tried existing .apk's and all they did was made it seem like Adobe Flash was not even installed on all sites including hulu.com."

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=686765

After doing all this, I can finally watch youtube and HULU*added bonus. However, when I load the youtube application on my android, it says," There was a problem while playing Touch to rety"
