Battery Problem When Phone Powered Off

Soo,

I'm pretty new to flashing ROM's and have only flashed a few (Serendipity, Cognition, Continuum). But on my last flash of Continuum I noticed that my battery life wasn't as good as everybody else using the ROM had claimed to be. So I wen't through the steps of recalibrating my battery, using this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...ibrate+battery

I noticed that when my phone was powered off and hooked to the charger, the battery wouldn't show up indicating its power level. It would only show the little circular loading icon then a blank battery would pop up with the circular loading icon on it, then it would disappear, repeat. Disappear, repeat. I didn't understand why this was happening. I took my battery out, rebooted the phone, still the same results.

What could be the problem I thought? I searched the forums and I couldn't find this issue anywhere. So the other day I hooked my phone up to another charger and VIOLA!! It worked!! So the problem was in the charger!!

Since I couldn't find this in any other threads I thought I would post my own.

Hopes this helps anybody else who may be having this problem
