This kernel is ridiculous. My first quadrant run is 3258. My only gripe us the brightness of the color pallette. I hope this will be stable enough for a daily driver.

BFS is a scheduler made by Con Kolivas aimed at interactivity for small machines.
Quite many things are geared towards servers in linux kernel since companies with interest in servers, not desktops pay many of the fulltime contributors.

400 is just BFS v.400

2.6.35.12 is latest long term kernel release, dubbed by some "the best kernel in a while"

This combination of kernel and bfs works without any side effects, getting full benefits of bfs in this release.

The new kernel linked in op has a more "professional" bootlogo, better interactivity thanks to bfs, works with flash in your browser, to mention the main benefits.

Testing now . . . No problems so far, and it is very fast still. The new bootlogo is very nice.

Honity and trinity are not cut from the same cloth. H14 was very stable for me and this froze up on me within an hour. My guess is bus speeds are higher with Trinity than with honity amongst other things. IMO most people, except Simms, will be able to run this smoothly for long periods of time.

1.40 and 1.44 is a bigger difference than it may seem based on the higher bus speed. If the phone likes it, great, if not, you know what then.

So i'd need a 1.32 and a 1.42, 1.32 for those phones that don't mind the bus but not together witht he 1.44, and the 1.42 who just can't handle that bus.

And then a million variations in between, just keep on checking the OP, it will slowly fill up.

Stock users must test the nest modaco kernel for suitability, on the next refresh i will add cm7 and modaco kernels only.

I will drop the boot animation, saves on spave for me and makes downloads quicker and those who like the bootanimation, they can keep it or grab it from an optional download i will add.

The symbolism of the bootanimation is probably lost on most anyway, so i will see if avetny can find me a longer version of the Tsar Bomba boot animation, keeping the bootlogo "harmless".

Going to refresh the kernels tonight since some VM and ramdisk tweaks seem to be working out well.

Thanks for your positive outlook, although simms might be shocked.
