Can I flash a Kernel while still running the stock HTC ROM?

Yes .... Probably should ask questions in the general area not the development section though.

+1 and the answer is yes, for the moment without exceptions, since all kernels released so far are sense compatible kernels. just be careful after slayher's aosp kernel gets released
