Except htc are now locking bootloader's, meaning no miui/cm7 or any custom kernel rom until someone finally cracks it. And rumor is samsung will not be locking bootloader's, but time will tell on that, I don't hold much faith in samsung's word at this point

Real douche move by htc, as an avid htc supporter am very disappointed, and will probably be shifting my view on my favorite manufacturer

+1 dude, I love HTC and have been a fan for a while now, but if they continue this way and keep locking the bootloader then I will be looking elsewhere. Google themselves even support rooting your device if its done right.

My Desire is up for replacement in 2 or so months and i was looking at the Sensation. Was hoping the development would be well on the way with custom ROMs by then.

Also love HTC phone, but if they are going to lock them then its time to move elsewhere. I think that they are shooting themselves in the foot by locking the phones

Only time will tell if it damages their market share . Doubt it will thou.
