Default [Q] Cursor keys ?

Is there any way using the stock kb or any kb to move the cursor fwd or back when typing ? I find it so difficult to insert a letter or correct a letter/word without deleting to that position. Also is there a forward delete ?

Thumb keyboard has proven to be best for me: it not only has cursor keys but also a tab key, useful for navigating pages such as my online bank.
sent from my Note 2 or Note 10.1
