Default Coming from a Nexus One and have a G2X in hand? Battery?

If you are coming from a Nexus One, how is the battery life in comparison?

Hopefully I will be finding out later this week.

VERY hopefully, as my battery now only lasts about 7 hours on standby.

It's hard to say, because a) I've had a few reboots which drain it as the phone starts up and b) I've been playing with it so much that's not a normal usage pattern. I also have ton of stuff (Gmail, 2 IMAP accounts, Facebook, Twitter, Weatherbug, Beautiful Widgets, Reader, CNN, etc. etc.)

Even so, I think you can get about 12+ hours of hard usage out of it. I'm sure if you conserve or use it lightly you can easily last a day or more.

I'm getting about the same, around 13hrs or so before I had to plug it in again. Even then I only did it so it wouldn't die in me on my way home, I'd say its doing better than my nexus if only by a bit. I'm loving the phone but I am really really missing my led/trackball, no notification light sucks also my notification sounds aren't as loud as they were on my nexus one. Beyond that's its all great, now just waiting for either the gingerbread update or cyanogen to give the g2x some love
