Default [answered] Headphones/mic

Quick question - from the videos I've seen, there is a headphone socket, but no microphone one.

Does that mean this doesn't support an external microphone, or do you have to get a mobile phone style one, with a third "band" on the jack itself?

I'm thinking of using it for Skype, mainly, but I'm sure other people will think of far more useful things to do with one

I believe it is a microphone/headphone audio jack. So it supports the 3.5mm 3 band headphones you're talking about for mobile phones.
