Default WTH is this stuff eating battery!?

I freshly formatted my phone and set up only my Gmail accounts. Then I charged fully, and let run for 6 hours. Here is weird stuff in Battery History:

Network Usage:
  • Media = Total Bytes: 27954920
  • "0" (Force Closes when I try to click) = Fills bar with Blue/Red about 75%
  • Android System = Total Bytes: 23087734
  • "1013" (Force Closes) = Fills roughly 20%

Sensor Usage:
  • Car Home= Total Time 6h 5m 47s (I *froze* Car Home when I saw this and the total time hasn't increased since)
  • Gallery = Total time: 5h 17m 5s
  • Android System = Total time: 50m 38s

Now - WHAT THE #$%&... Why is Media and Android System sending/receiving over 50mb of data when I was NOT interacting in the phone and why the hell is the Gallery and Car Home eating Sensor Usage?

You said you synced your Gmail accounts right. There is quite a bit of data there. Did you sync a Picassa account or anything?

I would continue to monitor it then. Maybe it was just an initial process to get things up and running. I can't see any phone sucking up 50mb a day without doing anything at all.

I just checked mine and both maps and car home were running for over 3 hours, and I never used them.
