I can confirm that the method for the JPN Rom works (replacing loader.sin), and I have successfully rooted with Gingerbreak as well.

do you mind sharing the pre-installed weibo and its timescape extension apk files from the HK firmware?

However I don't recommend using the JPN firmware unless
1) you live in JP and a lot of the services it provides would require you to use its extensions and applications
2) you do not use wireless tethering. Currently the JPN firmware does not support any type of tethering. I've also tried Wireless Tether for Root user and it doesn't always work properly. (no wpa_supplicant)

i unlocked the bootloader and flashed the UK rom when it first come out.

today i was flashing the Hk ROM, everything showed normal during flashing, but nothing changed when i reboot.

i check build number still 184 ..

why is it so?

If you have space in your file name it won't work unless you have quotes around them.

Please rename the file to something like system_hk.img and then perform:
fastboot flash system_hk.img

my file name is HK.img

i thought the system is part of the command?
