GingerBreak will not work on the stock .595 build for the X just like it will NOT work on the OTA update coming soon.

I knew about the OTA, didn't know about 595. was told different on 595. Thanks for steering me straight!

I confirm this masterpiece works on LG Optimus U from US Cellular, I'm on Android version 2.2.2, and this worked wonders... was slower then z4root was before my OTA update but was worth the 5 minute wait!! Thanx

Worked like a charm on my GT-I9000T (Latam Version) Build10.10. Took about 20 secs and then it rebooted.

Running Stock GT_I9000_XWJVH_XXJVO_NEEJV3_Sbl, uploaded by Ramad with download-mode/recovery (re-activated by the SBL).

Will continue in my quest to fix my damaged data/modem by CM7

rooted my atrix with gingerbreak....did the job easily. however, even with sd card installed, it wiped all my pictures on my internal storage clean. has anyone else experienced this? and if so, is there a way to retrieve them? (lesson learned: backup data before stirring up the OS)

Hi,

I installed and ran the apk and it gave me an error that "something is wrong". This is not the problem.

The problem I have is that now the sdcard cannot be mounted. My desire HD does not recognize that there is a card in the slot. The card is fine as I test it on my computer. What should I do? ( is this going to help - fastboot oem enableqxdm 0 - still trying to run it as i have missing dll) ?
