i must admit, even having done this several times for sd-cards on my android, i still need to follow a how-to and it is never done correctly the first time. i am also familiar with gparted - i've used linux since 2006.. If I were you, I would format to fat32 then put it into recovery and see if you can use recovery to get your basic setup - using recovery.. then take the card out of the phone and place into a perfectly working card reader! don't try to do it using your phone
use gparted and re-do it all.. you should find the partitions there, but unmount them and redo them. make sure there are no spaces between the partitions and that you have fat32, ext4, swap.. and only in that sequence.

good luck!
No swap please!

What happens in recovery if you wipe 'data/factory reset'? Any "unable to mount" messages?

After make the partitions, my phone don't mount sd in recovery mode. When i tried to mount this with the phone turned on, i see that the phone don't show me any information in settings.
I made the process again. First using swap, and before without.
Always formatting the SD.
And in the end, format the SD in FAT32 without partitions.
Nothing happens...

Tonight i have tested the sd on my girl's phone. The Samsung S5230 for the first time don't display infos about the sd, but after reboot, it show me that the sd is formated and i have about 7.45GB of free space.

I pulled it out and insert on Motorola Droid 2 Global...it won't boot and freeze in "M" screen.

i'll try tomorow something to do this work. But, don't understant why one smartphone isn't be capable to mount the Sd and a dumbphone mount only after one reboot.

Thnx guys for helping me.

I'll keep in contact

....

Friend.. Droidzone's question is important.. do you get "unable to mount" message when you go into recovery?
What text 'exactly' do you see? Can you do a USB Mount from recovery - and then see the 'phone/card' appearing on your pc when you mount it that way?

..also - when you format the card, do you do it from the recovery, or from the usb with sd card in the phone - or do you do it from an sd-card reader?

Kernels v04 and v05 are using the modules of 2.6.35.10-g308ba26.

Kernel v03 uses the modules of 2.6.35.10-gdd56551.

If you change your modules first (make a backup of the old ones) then flash v05 it should have to work. I used fastboot to flash v05 from v04.

Sorry! I have a problem with Supernova . I switch the language in setup to German/Germany and the Rom donīt switch to the language.

I think the Rom is Multilanguage? I think this is a very great bug of this Rom.

On the Droidzone Hompage is the Version 1.0.2.6. Please help me found the correct downlowdlink.

Thanks for help!
