[Q] Flashing JVB: More Odin Problems [The Sequel]

UPDATE: SOLVED - flashed JVB with bootloaders...everything working fine now. Thanks.

Hi, sorry to bother you again.

Firstly, I flashed through odin JVK rom with JVK Bootloaders [GT_I9000_XXJVK_XXJVK_OXAJVK_Sbl.exe > extract > placed files on odin]

Everrything fine.

Secondly, I flashed through odin JVB rom [GT_I9000_XWJVB_XXJVK_NEEJV3.exe ? extract > same procedure].

Everything fine.

Then, went on to flash CF-Root-XW_XEE_JVB-v3.1-CWM3RFS.tar [Chainfire's root]: and odin said failed.

I then re-did step 1: everything ok. Then re-did step 2: but instead this time I flashed JVB rom [GT_I9000_XWJVB_XXJVK_XEEJV3.exe > extract > same procedure] BUT, ODIN GAVE ME FAIL and it soft-bricked.

I didn't panic, re-did step 1: and then step 2: and I flahsed the first JVB rom with NEE CSC; BUT, ODING GAVE ME FAIL ONCE AGAIN

I re-did step 1: and I'm JVK right now. at least it's functioning.

What am I missing??

some more details: the first rom I always flash is JVK WITH bootloaders, however the subsequent roms i flash JVB w/ Nee or Xee CSC are always WITHOUT bootloaders...dunno if it helps.

can you flash gingerbread directly from eclair? or do you have to flash froyo first and then gingerbread in sequence. just want to know.
