Which emulator are you using ? Tiger ? i`ve got volume down mapped as coin and the options a+b= z and the other one on
Xperia Play
Rooted
ICS MIUIv4_2.8.3

Not really MAME, but a port of Raine, which plays all Neo Geo, Capcom 1 & 2, Cave and some Toaplan games.

You need to find a Raine rom set and you will be set.
