Xtc clip s-off

Hi,

Apologies if this is a basic question but i didnt see any answer in the desire s forum.

Is it possible to s-off the desire S with xtc clip?

From what ive read there is no software s-off available so there is no way to root it if you have s-on but is this possible with the xtc clip?

I am new to android so am not too clued up ive just come over from an iphone.

If its possible with xtc clip if anyone knows anyone with an xtc clip in london please advise.
