Question [Q] Arc and MW600 dont detect each other - Y ?

I have this bluetooth stereo headset MW600
which does not detect my Xperia Arc and vice-versa. But both of them (Arc & MW600) detect other mobiles very well. Can anybody think of any reason and solution ?

My WM600 is wokring with my arc. The first time I have to sync the devices. I have put my WM600 in sync mode, then I have found the headset in the syncable devices in the list of my arc.

Turn on bluetooth on Arc, make it visable, turn off MW600 then turn it on and keep holding the button till u see a spinning arrows, hit scan on Arc, Arc should detect it.

That's correct. It ttok me ages and going back to see the manual from the box itself and have a thorough read thru before getting it pair properly withj my Arc. Wish I seen this post earlier.

does anyone know of a wired headset which controls the music?

Im tempted to buy one of these but because my liveview connection is so flaky im worried that its the bluetooth on my phone (which could take many weeks to be repaired) and if I buy one of these I will end up with another piece of kit to sit on my desk with my liveview.
