Unfortunately you cant remove the simlock by modding the rom.
I've finished your's though, get it here.
I'd suggest trying a custom rom like fusion 2 thouhg, because it has a lot more features. Also, before you flash make sure to make a backup of your current rom.
Always make sure you have a backup before flashing just in case something goes wrong.
Let me know how it works for you.
Btw, do you know what kind of touchscreen you have?

I tried installing the multitouch patch and its kernel from Recovery but for both I got "Installation Aborted"
I tried toggling signature verification and there was this another toggling option, but every time I tried the installation got aborted, dunno why. (phone is working normally atm)

also If I flash the rom you have provided, wont that erase all my installed apps etc.?
[and yes I already made a backup of my current stock rom, (i wonder if it backed up my installed apps along with it too)]

P.S. my screen is a synaptics

Yes it will. You just want to flash the kernel? I'll see if i can find one that will work.

how about this:
I upload the backed up rom of my phone and you can modify it to activate multitouch, then I wont have to re-install all apps and wont have to re-root n stuff..?
the basic reason why i dont wanna go for a custom rom atm is that it hasn't been long since ive bought my phone and i'll go for custom roms once i get bored of the stock rom

one more thing, the backed up rom is a folder rather than a zip file... should I zip it or will the folder be enough to restore (if required in the future) [sorry for being a n00b]

The folder is enough, you don't need to zip it to restore it. Also, you don't need to flash an entire rom if all you want is multitouch. You can just flash this multitouch kernel. You shouldn't lose your data if you use this. Let me know how it goes. Haven't tested it because i use a different rom with its own kernel but is should work.

I tried all of them in the first method terminal emulator says flash_image not found while it is there in the directory you specified and in second method there is no folder like "mirror.sea.tdrevolution.net" and in the third method when I turn my phone on in bootloader it just stucks at the ideos logo and windows batch file says waiting for device. I don't know what mistake I made so help me please

Hey, could you please tell me what folders are in the clockworkmod/downloads/ directory?

Firstly there is no folder at all just one file written settings on it but after when I go to rom manager and load clockwork mod recovery and get any other mobile's recovery then download appears in which there's a folder named recoveries and then some kind of address appears and so deleted it and put ideos recovery there but nothing happened. Thanks

The folder that appears to be an address is the one you need, don't delete it, open it until you find the recovery image then replace that image with the one you want to flash, also remember to rename the recovery you want to flash to the name of the recovery in the folder, then it should work.
