Question PDANet missing from Market on Icredible 2

*** FIXED!!! - had to re-install PDANet app on PC w/ phone connected and it installed it on to my phone automatically. ***

--------------------

I just exchanged my Thunderbolt today for an Incredible 2. I had purchased PDAnet a few weeks ago when I had the Thunderbolt and got it installed and working fine. Now that I have the Incredible 2 the app does not show up in Market. The phone is not rooted and have already attempted the airplane mode/wifi on trick used on att/t-mobile just to see if it'd work but did not.

Is there a way to get PDANet on my phone without rooting?

I have the Incredible 2 (USA - Verizon) and no show here. My guess is it's blocked. Well anyway, I ended up just re-installing PDANet on my computer with the phone connected and during the process it installed it to my phone to and now everything works fine.

I wonder if This would work with the Incredible 2 and a Macbook. I would love to put PDA net back on my phone. Has anyone tried this with a macbook?

Some carriers have started cracking down on tethering apps: http://arstechnica.com/gadgets/news/...or-android.ars

It should be noted that the Incredible S does not need PDAnet to tether with a Windows machine (just needs HTC-Sync installed).
