I was browsing the best buy store in fountain valley and saw a guy carried 3 new transformer to the store from the truck. I inquired the manager about it and he told me that the stock acer distributed to Frys did not make to the store untill now. According to him each store in Socal has 3 in stock. Just an FYI for people who want it now

Fry's is crap. I've been trying since Tuesday.
The online website would say it's in stock (anaheim and sometimes ventura/city of industry/fountain valley).
I call, they say "i think we have one, please hold".... they come back and say "sorry no".
Website for HOURS still say it's available in store.
I place multiple orders for store pickup at those stores.
10 minutes later get an email saying it's not in stock and will be cancelled.

I live 45 minutes away from a Fry's (Anaheim and City of Industry), so I can't just go and check I need them to hold one for me.

Also being Fry's... I would not be surprised if these units are returned by customers and they put it back into the system. That's why it keeps popping up as available.

wow, sorry that you have to make a huge effort to own a tablet. Anyway, it looks like you finally got one at fry's. It is a great device and it will make all the troubles worth it. I can only laugh with you about how the transformer's availabilty is so limited that makes people searching high and low for the product.
