Default [Q] Rooting a locked phone?
Probably a basic question but I couldn't find a clear answer. It is likely my SII will be locked to O2. Probably don't mind living with that for a while but will it prevent me rooting the phone when Chainfire or Supercurio release their rooting apps? I know rooting will not unlock a phone but can I root a locked phone or does being locked prevent it being rooted?

Carrier locking does not stop you from being able to root your device.
