Default [Q] Nook Browsers/system doesn't appear to handle browser redirects?

I've taken my rooted Nook on the road for the first time, instead of my laptop.
I tried it at the airport, and just now from the 'free' wifi at the hotel.

At the hotel, the their service is (a company I can't recall at the moment) sponsored by Google). I've tried both my AutoNootered version and the latest Cyanogen version (from 2 days ago), and with both the stock browser and from Firefox.

I've had the furthest success with the AutoNooterd version, where upon selecting the hotel's wifi, it tells me that a re-direct has been requested. The wifi setup page then shows me the 'browser page' for that redirect. I answer the questions the hotel (service) asks and the last thing on the screen is the button for 'connect to the internet'. When I push that, nothing else seems to happen; at least not on the 'setup' screens. So I select either the stock browser, or Firefox, and attempt to browse... nothing further happens. I also try other Internet connecting apps (news, weather, CNN, etc) and none get through.

When I tried Cyanogen. I didn't even see the messages about 'redirect being requested, or the subsequent hotel (service) questionaire.
