There's a Youtube video somewhere showing a demo of the phone, and facial recognition unlock is definitely present.

I heard this some where some feature from MWC aren't included maybe they will put it in 2.3.4?? That browser rotation animation isn't there any more??

Apparently the facial recognition unlock worked with photo's too, so I'm not really surprised if they did take it out, it's not a very secure feature. Cool, but not secure.

I can imagine my missus pointing the phone at my face to unlock while I'm asleep, yeah cool to have, but won't use and don't miss it
