[WIP] Dinc2 To Thunderbolt port... WIP

So I have started a WIP to backport sense 2.1 to our thunderbolt devices from a Desire HD rom Android version 2.2.1


Idea: Completly port Dinc2 dump for our thunderbolts (or backport rosie to get her workin and playin nicely on our T-bolts)

Adrynalyne has been kind enough to share his already started port on D2inc with me as a starting point hopefully we have something fun to play with by tomorrow

So I think we might be able to port 2.3.3 to our devices from desire HD devices now

i believe now we can get some sweet working ports of new 2.3 based roms
I am still gunna play with the Dinc2 Stuff but im really gunna focus on Desire HD 2.3.3 Ports ( i really like those roms its just my preference )

ok so a0.0.2 doesnt boot all the way either... it boots to the point of where its a mountable file structure but wont play

Looks promising, but question. Why not backport the leaked Gingerbread ROM for DHD rather than a froyo ROM ?

the difference in system file structer between 2.3 and 2.2.1 in essence its just easier to do this and its the same sense just not as new android :-\

Depending on what kind of help/input/pointers i get... i might try to get the 2.3 stuff backported but we cant run the 2.3 without RIL libs for our devices

I would wager it's because we don't have a working 2.3 RIL other than from CM7. As far as I know, slayher hasn't released his work on that.

It would be easier to port the Dinc2 rom, imo.

I only messed with it for about 15 minutes, but had most things working, sans radio.

What's the difference between Sense 2.0 and 2.1.1 anyway?

I'd take a look at sensation and doubleshot gingerbread roms and see about those since R2DoesInc got them running on the TB. Maybe you can do gingerbread fully without RIL and merge it in later.
