Default cm7 charging question

I'm running the latest build of cm7 (7.02 I think). I've noticed even though the indicator on the included charging cord turns green when the nook reaches 100% under menu and status it says my nook is still charging. I've tried other USB cords with the same result. My optimus v running cm7 indicates its not charging after reaching 100%. Is this normal and is the nook still in fact charging after its reached a full charge?

It says it under settings, about tablet, status. Also if you have the elixir app it says its charging. I'm just wondering if its a bad idea to leave it plugged in after its charged if it indicates its still charging.

Also something that may be of note is I'm running the 4/24 test oc kernel. I'm not sure if the kernel handles the device charging or not.

If the AC adapter cools off, the NC has stopped quick charging. My charger gets warm during quick charge, but I'm not sure if it stays in quick charge mode until the NC is 100%. Probably not. Probably switches to a lower charge rate when near 100%. I am pretty sure that the battery's integrated chip controls charging & I don't suspect the the OS can interfere. The battery is designed to protect itself from overcharging.

Cheers,
kev

Thanks for the info. I do see the battery temperature drops some after reaching full.
