Stuck at splash after partitioning SD

Hey guys, I've got a problem. I've had the Evo since the day it came out and I've never messed something up this bad. I wanted to start using app2sd so I partitioned my SD card after backing everything up to my PC. Now no matter what I do the phone just hangs at the splash screen. I mounted the SD in clockwork and loaded the latest nandroid back to the SD card and restored it and it still hangs. Did I totally screw myself?
