Wi-fi not turning all at all

Bought a Acer Iconia A500 today and unpacked it 30minutes ago. Got to the setup screen where you select a wifi connection and I got a list of networks that was close so i selected my own wifi network.

Problem is after this initial selection the wifi hasnt worked at all. When i go to settings->wireless networks>turn on wifi it just stays at 'turning on' and after about 20 seconds just says 'error'. Seems like a faulty module, though it's strange because it seemed to turn on the first time I used the tablet.

Allready tried a factory reset, it's not helping. Any ideas? Was looking forward to playing around with my new toy tonight : (
