This is an interesting theory. I was having fantastic battery life on Mosaic until yesterday, & now that you guys mention Maps, I did use it yesterday. This morning, after a full charge overnight, my battery was down to ~60% after 4hrs. I checked the battery stats, & it said that AndroidOS was using up far, far more than it ever had up till yesterday.
