Default How to unlock O2 handsets

I will update this first post with details on how to unlock.

Method 1
Contract only.
Unlock via their website.
https://www.o2.co.uk/apps/help/help?...oute=unlocking
Apparently a one month waiting period, but no one has tried this yet.

Method 2
Contract only.
Unlock request via O2 customer service over phone. which department do you need to speak to? Can anyone help?
Is there still a one month waiting period?

Method 3
For contract or Pay as You Go.
http://www.mobileunlocked.co.uk/
Cost - £15.
Verified as working here
The one verified unlock via this method that we've seen took 11 minutes.

Thanks,

James

Thanks Saquib,

Anyone got any info on how to call them to ask for your phone to be unlocked?

Thanks,

DONATE TO ME
do these handsets have any carrier bloatware on them because they are locked? Also if and when any updates happen are they likely to be delayed due to them being previously locked by O2?

They have the O2 wallpaper and splash screen. Thats it. Just flash the stock Rom thats on samfirmware if it delays updates.

Is that URL right? Shouldn't it be unlockED.co.uk?
