I'm a little confused. Bell in Canada sorta makes one think that the "Vibrant" (stupid name/it is an I-9000) is 4g capable. Also, this wikipedia article suggest that there is Wimax 2.5 and 2.7. Can anyone clarify this?Click image for larger version

"Network compatibility
The Samsung Galaxy S™ Vibrant™ is a 4G (HSPA) or UMTS device."

So...
Lets isolate this problem.
Which kernel are you using?
FuguMod here.

Wink Battery
I tested build 68 with modem JV6. In the Frence SFR network that modem gives a lot of noice during a call. Furthermore the GPS is very slow finding satellites. Battery life in standby with all connections and background data disabled is good (24 hours).

As soon as background data is enabled and email starts to synchronize and keep the phone awake battery life is barely 12 hours.

To avoid the noice I changed to modem JVQ and battery live is even better. After 13h standby with all connections and background data disabled 71% left.

Changed to build 71. Will try keeping the Wifi on all day and next day 3G. Both with background data and sync. See how this build handles usage

Cheers

kobi, fugumod 214 with some UV values.

but the thing is that i never had this problem, and also did not install anything new.

dont have any script running or things like that.

#67 with fugu #203 was fine - then i upgraded to #70 on stock kernel , and fot batt drainage over night of 24% in 7 hrs with wifi and 3g on.
so i installed fugu 214 - and problem presists

Excuse me .. I saw it works quiet hours ... but I expected to notify me in any way that is on quiet hours ...

was better if I could do and:
- Disable haptic feedback
- Brightnes to 0
- Disable network connections (wifi and / or data)

this system is pretty skinny from what can do TASKER ...
