Arrow [Q] Few questions about the phone

The Sensation looks like a grat phone .
A few questions remain :

Is it maybe plausible to have custom ROM on it ?

Is the screen (glass) durable ?

Isn't Sense eating away a bit amount of RAM ?

Why is this phone better than the Nexus S ?

No ROOT = No warez APKs ?

thanx for the help in advance

Custom roms, no not yet. Need bootloader hack

Glass, very durable. Has gorilla glass confirmed

Better than Nexus s cause it has dual core processor, more ram, newer (not sure if better yet) video chip

Dunno about sense and ram yet. As it is new 3.0 sense, no one done extensive testing yet

No root does mean no warez apps, but you should give credit where due for developers. Apps are usually only $1. Are you trying to tell me you can afford a new top shelf android phone but can't afford $1 for an app

Root won't be far away after its actually released. You do know its not out yet

Omgwarez is still attainable without root, not that im promoting it. As long as sideloading is enabled, any apk is installable. I beta test apps on a non rooted mytouch. Apks install with no prob.

Again, not promoting it.

Why not use a prepaid Visa card?

Is it maybe plausible to have custom ROM on it ? Not yet, but it will probably will be in the future.

Is the screen (glass) durable ? The glass surface is curved at boundry's so that it won't touch the underground when you lay it down and won't scratch. Besides that it's made from gorilla glass.

Isn't Sense eating away a bit amount of RAM ? Yes a bit, but you get a lot of nice features in return. eg the new lock screen.

Why is this phone better than the Nexus S ? it's dual core!

No ROOT = No warez APKs ? You can install apps even if it's not rooted when you check the box Onbekende bronnen

(Leuk om te zien dat er mensen uit de omgeving hier ook te vinden zijn)
