im turning into I'm bug

I appreciate that WP7 autocorrects certain contractions. However, WP7 only corrects im to I'm when it is at the beginning of a sentence. If I type im on my hardware keyboard mid sentence it does not turn into I'm. Can this be fixed by a a dev or do I need to complain to Microsoft and HTC. I also don't know if this bug is specific to my HTC 7 Pro or to all WP7 phones.

I'm thinking this must be specific to you.

I'm running the HTC Arrive and I tried 3 or 4 times and it corrected 'im' to I'm every time regardless of placement within a sentence.

However it seems to recognizes IM as being correct since it's a correct usage for instant message.

Maybe they fixed it in the Arrive, I'm on an unlocked 7 Pro.

I'm also using an unlocked 7 pro. It happens to me when I don't put a space after a full-stop.im doesn't work. I'm works hope that helps!

Does any one know how to unlock the arrive yet.

Here's how it works on my Arrive. Mid sentence it'll correct it "im" to "I'm", but once I hit backspace it'll give me a bunch of different options including "IM" once that's done though it assumes you meant "im" and not "I'm".
