Three UK Network Phone - Debrand?

Hi, I have a UK Three Network White SGS2 which I've rooted to unlock but would like to debrand (carrier free / sim free) but not sure what firmware/kernel etc I can install.

I'd like to be able to remove the triangle and the counter afterwards. The stock firmware installed on the phone was as follows:

2.3.5 android
baseband - i9100neki2
kernel version 2.6.35.7-i9100xwki8-cl616395 root@DELL149#2
Build version Gingerbread.XWKI8

Not particularly useful considering multiupload is down and the hotfile files just don't exist anymore...

Would anyone have a link to the original o2 ROM at the start of this thread, I deleted the one I had thinking I wouldn't need it anymore but I was wrong

Just use Checkfus to download it or the newer O2 firmware .

Hiya,

The best source for the branded and unbranded firmware is samfirmware.com. You need to be logged in to download anything. I saw there many uk carrier's firmware. Some of them you can update via kies, but the firmware in your phone must be original (stock that came with phone).

Thanks for your replies, but I managed to get the 2.3.3 and 2.3.5 from another website, I don't currently have the link to hand but will paste it here when I'm next on my PC.
