Killing tasks/apps on schedule?

is there anything out there that will kill all running tasks (except the important ones, or heck, ones you select) on a schedule?
for example. i go to bed with a ton of apps running and it drains my battery. Id like to say at 2am kill off all these apps except certain android critical ones.
sure could save some battery.

Tasker does this. It's not amazingly easy to use but it also does a lot more things too. Link here:

There will be others but nothing springs to mind other than this atm.
