Yep, that's the charge bug. Suffer from it myself on I9000roms.

I ended up flashing over from M9 to Legend 4 because of it. Loved the ROM, but my phone must have a bone to pick with KK4, because I would get numerous slowdowns/lockups daily, requiring a battery pull. I even updated to Legend 5 with the full-wipe when it came out, reflashed, completely wiped the data, and within a few days, low and behold...the issues returned.

I couldn't take it anymore today, so I flashed Serendipity VII on a whim, and whaddya know, no charging bug issues. My main issue is that (while SVII is great) for me, it just doesn't compare to the work and support you all put into your ROMs.

I'm stewing about giving M9 another shot and seeing if maybe the charging bug came from a bad flash, since SVII isn't giving me any issues at the moment aside from the blasted WiFi not wanting to turn back on half the time (a common issue with 2.3.3 for me, it seems). I'd have to disable the lagfix, etc., and it would be a royal PITA, but I'd be ecstatic if it worked!

EDIT: Well, whaddya know!? I flashed Mosaic IX yesterday, and the charge bug is gone! No idea how that happened. This time, I didn't use the Odin flashable package, I just flashed the Mosiac_9.zip in CWM. Wonder if it has anything to do with me using stock AT&T GB I897 boots instead of the I9000 boots included in the Odin package.

Only thing I HAVE noticed, though, is that if I receive a text message while the phone is charging above 90%, the phone immediately tells me the phone is charged and to unplug. Unplugging the phone drops the percentage to whatever it was before the text message was received, and leaving it plugged in for a little while longer charges the phone to ACTUAL 100%. Odd, but I can live with it! Anyways....SWEET!

EDIT #2: Epic fail. Charging bug surfaced after a couple days of use. Bummer.

Studacris,

I don't have enough posts to post in the development thread yet, but thanks for all the hard work. I've now taken your advice and gotten out of the stone age. Now on Jelly Bean.

I love this ROM but I would like to speed it up a bit. I'm still a bit confused about kernels and which one I should flash for this ROM. I'm afraid I'll flash the wrong one and cause some problems. Can I just grab any speedmod I want and flash away or are there only certain ones I can use with this ROM. I've been reading for quite a while and can't seem to find a clear answer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Any GB kernel will do, just make sure it's GB and not ICS, JB (or froyo). Semaphore was probably my fav with this ROM, here's the link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1338372

Semaphore is included wolf....So you just linked him to the kernel he is already running

I'd go with talon as an alternative....as that's really the only other choice for gb

There is a bigmem version of talon yes. But that breaks HD recording, so if you like to shoot a lot of videos i wouldn't go with that one.

The non bigmem works very well also.

That's pretty odd indeed.

Try a fresh download... i need to update my op I've just been over worked as of late.
If wolf was kind enough to keep this in his drop box, try this:
